Crying Out for a Sign

There is an easy way to find them

Waking up in the cold sweat of doubt and anxiety
I cry out for a sign from God that I will make it

I drive down the road and see a homeless person begging for food
I Cry out to God to give this man a break

I sit an watch the news and
I Cry out to God to intervene and do something

Then I see a baby being born and think
What a better sign could God give than life!

I see a father and son playing catch on a ball field
And I thank God for that vision of hope

I see my own life and ask for a sign to show that I am even alive
Then I realize that having these thoughts prove I am not only alive,
But this is God’s sign to me.

He tells me to keep my mind open and my heart pure. Everything that
Is going on in the world is a sign from God.

We just have to accept them and use them to make life better for someone
Which therefore makes your own life better.

At that point you BECOME the sign and that was the plan all along
