I Love Meeting Country Artists
It’s a great passion and hobby of mine.
I attended an Alan Jackson concert in 2012, a milestone in my love for country music. That night sparked my journey with the genre.
And it’s been a journey ever since.
In recent years, I’ve had more fun with it by meeting the artist themselves! It’s a great passion and hobby of mine that doesn’t look to be leaving any time soon.
I purchased Miranda Lambert tickets for my mom and I in Champaign, Illinois in 2019. We enjoyed the show so much but had no idea what would happen after the show.
As we were walking out of the building, we met her opening act Tenille Townes. She is hands down one of the nicest women in country music today.
Such an honor meeting her.
In 2015, my dad and I attended the Broomcorn Festival in Arcola, Illinois where RaeLynn played the Main Stage on Sunday afternoon. After the show, I asked her to take a selfie with me, which she then replied:
“I will,” she said. “But you’ll have to let me take it.”
She grabbed my phone and snapped one of my favorite pictures of all time. My dad and I still talk about meeting her and how nice she was to this day.
Ever since I heard the song “Wanted,” I always wanted to see Hunter Hayes live in concert. He finally came to Springfield, Illinois and played a show at a local bar.
After handing me a guitar pic, he let me snap a selfie with him. It’s truly one of the best pictures in my celebrity scrap book.
