Perspective

It’s vital to continue moving in the right direction.

We’re moving again today…

Yup… the fourth time in four months,

And two of those moves were to different states.

But I’m not here to complain or seek pity,

Because I’m really excited about this move,

Just as I’ve been excited about each move along this journey.

The thing is, with each of these moves, I’ve had a choice…

I could whine and complain about it, grumbling as I pack and schlepp all sorts of stuff around…

Or I can find the good, the joy, and the great part about the move, like how we get to experience a whole new place, and focus on that.

The same could be said for our work right now. I have a choice…

I could either stress out and worry and complain about how we don’t yet have the resources we need to pay ourselves or fully execute our plan,

Or I can look at how we’re raising tens of millions of dollars for a world-changing initiative and we’re on the perfect Universal timing.

I’ve long been a fan of Stoic Philosophy, and a core tenet is how all sorts of different things will happen to us in our lives,

All we can really do, is control how we react (i.e. — judging something that happens as ‘good’ or ‘bad’) and what choices we make in response.

I’d be lying if I said that I don’t grumble a little when moving,

But on the whole, I’m so excited about this next chapter of our adventure.

It feels like we’re Leveling Up on a regular basis.

I choose the right Perspective,

Because I might as well enjoy the ride!

P.S. — I’ve been working on a fun and exciting new project for a while now, but we’re in Stealth Mode.
