Most important lesson I learned from Amal fellowship!

Life of Immersion

Best journey of my life with Amal Academy as a fellow student is almost completed. These three months of immense recreational learning taught me millions of small but essential lessons of life. To sit and think about a single most important lesson learned from Amal is not that easy as . Lessons like; leadership is a choice we make and we can lead without authority, power of positive attitude, emotions are contagious and power of kindness are no doubt best lessons which Amal helped me to learn but among all “Living a life of immersion” is that lesson which touches the core of my heart.

During my journey in Amal I realized that all human on this planet are connected and we all should live for each other. Living in this way might not be easy and luxurious but it is ultimate need of life that will make our life easier, blissful and give equal importance to all. I would love to quote some lines from JN’s Ted talk she said

“We ourselves need to lead; Our lives are so short and our time on this planet is so precious and all we have is each other. May each of you live lives of immersion. They won’t necessarily be easy lives, but in the end, it is all that will sustain us.”

She also stated the sayings of President Kennedy and her words made it clear for me to understand why it is important to bring a positive change in you if you can’t change the world. This lesson is important because I am really surprised of my learning from this particular topic because I’ve unconsciously started living a life of purpose and I find myself immersed in this universe. I am more caring then I was before and always energetic to help other fellows in any problem they encounter

Now it is time to plan how I can apply this learning beyond Amal fellowship. I find that my purpose of life is to live a happy life by helping those around me who don’t have equal opportunities as we do. I want to help youth polish their skills so that they can solve their problems with dignity and they can live their lives with their self esteem.
